Taming the Wild is not just a business that cares for and trains dogs. Instead, it’s a living, breathing entity whose members work for the common good of the many and not the one - like the wolf pack it represents. Each day, our pack’s focus isn’t merely on surviving, but rather, thriving in a highly competitive pet industry by always seeking to provide a level of service that is unobtainable at any other training, boarding, and daycare facility.
Meet Bryan and Kira Bailey - Owners and Founders of Taming the Wild
I knew from a very young age that I wanted my life to be spent helping animals and that somehow from that, the animals would in return help other people. The knowledge I'm gaining at Taming the Wild is helping me to fulfill my purpose in life. I believe this purpose is to train service dogs that will provide disabled children and military veterans with a better quality of life. I began training dogs and horses in 1999 when I was only 13. Later on after high school, I studied Pre- Veterinary medicine at Northwest Mississippi Community College and gained much much experience over the years as a Veterinary Technician at both small and large animal clinics. I absolutely loved being a vet tech, but leaving it behind and relocating from Mississippi to Tennessee to pursue a career at Taming the Wild was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I still can't believe I get paid to do what I love so much! When I'm not playing ball with my boys Riley & Jesse, kayaking, or hiking with my Blue Heelers Buster & Molly, I wake up excited to get to work to see the dogs I'm training!
